Willow rambled down the shingle cove, her head's high carriage unusually low, lulled into an unnatural state of relaxation by the pounding waves. She halted, and the crunching sound of her hooves against the gravel ceased. Nostrils sniffing the salty air, she whinnied, and stood waiting for an answer. When none replied to her challenge, she snorted, snatching a mouthful of dry sea-thrift sprouting from between the rocks. Quietly claiming the cove as her own, she set off again down the shoreline...

Steel Warrior and Mystic Magic trotted up to the cove. They saw the pearl colored horse, ambling down the beach. Steel whinnied his challenge.
"Friend or Foe?" He asked. They awaited the answer...

The premonition hit her with full force, stronger than any she had ever experienced in the past.

A dark forest...fire..screaming...foals and mares fleeing, pursued by snorting horses, foaming at the mouths...

She stumbled, left reeling by the vision. But there was more.

The next morning...a charred wasteland...skeletal trees stripped bare by flames and smoke...bodies, scattering the desolate wasteland....

In the few moments before she lost consciousness, the sudden realization hit her. War was at hand. And she had glimpsed the outcome. But which side would win?
Then, she fainted.

Coming round, she found a mare and stallion standing over her. The image swam for a few moments, before focusing.
"Friend." She murmured. Thinking back to the vision, she gasped. She had always fought for good, but now she was in awe of the mighty power of the dark horses that roamed the black-sanded beach. Scrambling to her feet, she shook her mane and stared into the mare's eyes.
"Is there a wise horse here? One who may be able to.....sense things?" She inquired, trying to make her question seem casual but unable to disguise the panic in her voice.

"Hmm...that is an odd question. I have no thoughts as to who it may be...Mystic,you?"Said the steel grey stallion.He was very tall, his well muscled form intimidating.
"There is one...Healing Magic. She resides in the cave on the other side of this cove. Over there." Mystic replied. She nodded in the direction of the healers home.

Still shaking, she nodded.
"Take me there." She murmered, breathing heavily. As she began to walk behind the couple, she laughed.
"I'm sorry - I should explain. I am Willow. I.....have seen something. Something you should know." She proceeded to recount the premonition to the two equines...

After retelling the vision, she sighed, her eyes locking onto a cave in the distance.
"I need to see this horse. She may be able to tell me something more of what I have seen. There is war at hand, this I am sure of. She may be able to help us."

"Quickly, then. Follow me." Said Mystic. She galloped off,making sure the mare was following her. (Continue in Blue Skies Cave)
